After working at a couple small agencies in Boston, then Houston, got a call
from GSD&M. They were just beginning to put Macs in their shop to build ads. Yes, I'm
dating myself talking about the days when agencies used to send out for type.
Initially, my job was to build the infrastructure, then teach the creatives how
to use it. I also had a couple accounts to art direct as well. Around this
time, Director Lingo made CD-ROM creation a real possibility for marketing. I
built CD-ROMs for Southwest Airlines, Digital Computers (remember them?),
CocaCola and the agency. Then, this thing called the web caught my attention.
