My first web gig. I'd flown up to NYC to meet with Ogilvy. They were trying to
figure out what to do about interactive. While there, I met a consultant who
knew about a startup funded by NW Ayer. I met with them and was offered the job
the next day as Founder/ECD. We were one of the first "interactive ad agencies"
in New York.
I built one of P&G's first four sites, and the web's first scavenger hunt for Sunny Delight. I
built the Avon AOL store. I built Pantone's first site. Did a gob of stuff for
Microsoft, including the launch of IE3, their "catch up" browser. I was even on
stage with Gates at the launch event as a "featured developer."
